The journey to stay recharged is how I build emotional wellbeing every day.

Like many nature lovers, being outdoors energizes me. My connection with nature began as a scout along the Lisbon coastline. Later, my travels and the places I’ve lived, especially in Scandinavia, deepened my love for nature. It enhances my well-being.

Here are five ways to incorporate more outdoor experiences to boost energy and focus.

1: Get Lost

The stunning scenery of the Arctic region has been a serene escape from my busy life. It has mountains, untouched landscapes, and turquoise beaches. The endless summer days feel timeless. I enjoy exploring pristine beaches like Bunes, Ramberg, and Haukland. The vast, glacially carved cliffs and wild nature recharges me.

Other routes I take are in the Swedish outdoors. It stresses my self-reliance, where I spend days hiking through diverse terrain, ranging from harsh, cold places to sun-dappled forests, tundra, and rugged mountain paths.

These hikes are more than exercise. They are challenging, yet also provide me the chance to clear my mind.

Sometimes there is no network signal during the hikes, so it deepens my respect for the local…
