During my long morning walk into the woods today, while appreciating the refined colourful scenery and the season’s transition, it reminded me of the power of Kintsugi.
The art of Kintsugi goes beyond the mere act of repair; it symbolises resilience, acceptance, and the transformative power of time. The mended object becomes a testament to its history and reflects the philosophy that beauty can be found in both the perfect and the imperfect.
In essence, the philosophy of Kintsugi provides a profound perspective on the uncertainties we endure, suggesting that flaws and scars can contribute to our beauty and character.
It encourages us to see beyond the immediate challenges and appreciate the potential for beauty and growth amid the unpredictable.
In the face of uncertainty, much like Kintsugi, we are given the chance to mend and rebuild.
The unpredictability of the future may seem daunting, but it also offers the opportunity to encompass resilience. Then, our ability to navigate uncertainty can add depth and richness to our lives, becoming a process where we, like the Kintsugi master, delicately piece together the fragments of our experiences.
Like in the Kintsugi philosophy, our lives can be enriched by acknowledging that and embracing Transience as a way of life. We can adopt the Kinstsugi principles, which value resilience and acceptance.

By recognising and accepting that change is a natural part of life.
By celebrating that you are not perfect, you find your unique self and those of others through that.

By viewing challenges as opportunities for growth.
Reflecting on past challenges and recognising the strength and wisdom gained from overcoming them.

Focusing on amplifying the positive aspects and solutions rather than dwelling on problems.

Embracing a mindset that values continuous learning and improvement.

Appreciating life’s twists as they contribute to the richness and colourfulness of your experiences.

Experiencing life first-hand and from my circle of friends, co-workers, and relatives makes me understand the roots of life, as life is constantly changing and challenging in ways that sometimes we may search for the last bites of our grief. I appreciate better the temporary nature of both joyous and tough times.
